As some of
you might know, I have been doing pocket scrapbooking mostly by events, not to
document every single day of life. But I have challenged myself with a December
daily project. I chose a smaller size, 6x8, not only because I hope to do one
page every day but also because I find the 12x12 size slightly too big to flip
through comfortably. Actually I don’t quite
understand why the albums has to be so huge when opened up. To me it seems that
the rings are place all wrong. My A4 albums rings are all placed in the middle which
makes them at least 2 inches smaller when opened up. Maybe it´s just in my mind
though.
I have more or less only used my own freebies so far.
All the
freebies comes both with English and Swedish text.
This card
is made with a Spellbinders dies and star punch. I punched several stars and
glued them together to get some dimension.
The third of December was quite eventful here in Sweden. I chose to document it by making a collage of some of the newspaper headlines that day. As we all knew it would be an eventful day, I had the chance to take several print screens of the biggest newspapers headlines.
The collage from Instagram is from that same day but from my daughters account.
On this
card, only the number 3 is from my freebie. Unfortunately I can’t remember
where the rest comes from. It is not a die, it’s a card I bought.
This is
also a Spellbinders die. I think it might be my all time favorite. I love how
the 1 ½ inch circle fits perfectly in the middle.
