I hope your
Christmas has been happy, joyful and bright!
Mine was.
We spent Christmas in our old school house / cabin situated in the beautiful
region of Värmland. I happen to know for sure that this part of Sweden is the
most beautiful one.
While
Stockholm had a green, or rather, gray, Christmas Eve, we had Jack Frost visiting
us and leaving a stunning crisp white countryside for us to enjoy in bright sun
shine. Actually, we also had a tiny bit
of snow.
Before we
left for Värmland I had the chance to finish days 13-18 in my December daily
project.
This card is made with a Spellbinders dies, a white cs and two of my own frebies. I love this particular die.
The skater is cut with my Gazelle and from a free font downloaded at Dafont.com.
I hate my
hand writing. Its not so much that it is ugly, which it is, it also would make
the page so much less clean and simple. Instead I use the same font for every
journaling entry and I try to make the journaling cards look a bit similar. I
think this is a way to sort of tie the pages together without them becoming
boring.
Both the snow flake and the deer are cut with the Gazelle and a free font from Dafont.com
And while I was playing with the Gazelle I tryed to make a fjow own designs. There are plenty more to learn I would say :)
And finally, I would also like to wish you a Happy, Happy New year!!
